Gavin Henson chose Carianne Barrow from 25 girls on the Channel 5 show

Gavin Henson can't wait for new girlfriend Carianne Barrow, who won his heart on The Bachelor, to meet his children Ruby and Dexter.

The rugby star admits his daughter and son, whose mum is ex-fiancée Charlotte Church, 25, were at the front of his mind when he chose Carianne on the Channel 5 show.

'Carianne was so bubbly and I imagined how enthusiastic she'd be with the kids,' says Gavin, 29.

Model Carianne, 24, confesses to being 'like a child' herself, so Gavin's really looking forward to the day he introduces her to Ruby, 4, and Dexter, 2.

'I'm so excited about that,' he says. 'It'll be crazy!'
