Kara Tointon's man confides in Holly Valance

Artem Chigvintsev is having second thoughts about his relationship with Kara Tointon

Artem Chigvintsev swept Kara Tointon, 28, off her feet when they danced their way to Strictly victory last year.

The couple moved in together this summer but Artem, 29, has been moaning about their relationship to 2011 partner Holly Valance.

‘Artem told Holly that the more intense rehearsals get, the more insecure Kara becomes,' says our insider.

‘It's made him think twice about whether she's really the one for him.

‘Holly told him that he has to tell Kara if he's having doubts, but Artem said he doesn't know what to do.'

Kara's made no secret of feeling ‘weird' about seeing her man dancing with another woman.

When the series began she said: ‘Of course I'm going to feel a bit funny, but I want his partner to have the experience I had.

'Well, not quite the experience I had - let me rephrase that!'

With Holly, 28, about to move into a flash penthouse with multimillionaire boyfriend Nick Candy, we can't see her falling for Artem.

So let's hope Kara's pressure doesn't lead to him telling her to Foxtrot Oscar.

Watch out, Kara - it seems Artem has a history of ‘dating up' (hooking up with girls who are beneficial to him).

He married US ballroom champion Giselle Peacock, who later accused him of being fame-obsessed, and went on to date Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
