Singing star SuBo is a single woman looking for love and she isn't short of offers

Susan Boyle is on the hunt for love and a man to watch over her

Susan Boyle still hasn't found the man of her dreams, but the Britain's Got Talent star isn't short of admirers.

‘We all like the idea of sharing our lives with someone who is going to protect and look after us,' she says.

'I'm on my own quite a lot and that special person hasn't come along yet.

'I've had a few offers in the post and, let me tell you, some of them are beauties.

'They say: "I've seen your YouTube video and I think I like you. I live on my own and I need somebody too".'

But SuBo also receives some shocking images - as well tender messages - through her letterbox.

‘Some of the photographs I've been sent - oh, my God! Let's just say they were not suitable for me.

'Only Donny Osmond has really caught my eye - but he's spoken for.'

Now 50, Susan has never married and, after losing her mother in 2007, lives with her cat Pebbles. Her next album Someone To Watch Over Me is inspired by her quest for love and companionship.

‘It's about that special person I would love to meet, that longing for that person to come along,' she tells The Sun.

‘When he does, he'll be that person to watch over me and I will watch over him.

'You need someone to watch over you and I haven't had that since my mother died.'
