Sound technician Adam Huckett proposes to Corrie's Alison King in Paris

Alison King and Adam Huckett have been together since 2007

Coronation Street star Alison King has got engaged to boyfriend Adam Huckett.

The sound technician popped the question to the actress, who plays Carla Connor, during a romantic break to Paris. 

'She is over the moon,' a source tells the Sunday People. 'They've been together three years and Alison in sure that Adam's "the one" for her.'

Alison, 38, met Adam, 32, on the Corrie set in 2007.

They are parents to Daisy Mae, 2.

Last week, she happily flashed her engagement ring and told paps she was 'over the moon' when she turned up on set.
