Gary Barlow believes that Robbie Williams will be a great father

Gary Barlow has spoken out about how he believes Robbie Williams will make a super father.

‘I think Robbie will make a brilliant dad,' says Gary, 40.

‘He's got the mind of a 9-year-old! In all seriousness though, he's great.'

Robbie, 37, who helped The X Factor judge pick his final acts for the live shows, married Ayda Field in August 2010.

But he still feels he's not mature enough for children.

'When I go past Hyde Park and look at mothers with prams and dads with footballs, I think: "Oh no!" I already look knackered as it is,' Robbie admitted last year.

'Heavens knows what's going to happen to me once I have a kid.'

Gary - dad to Daniel, 11, Emily, 9, and Daisy, 2 - is sure Robbie will adapt. His own trio are thrilled about their father being on TV every week.

'My son sits playing Nintendo all the way through my concerts, they're not mad about what I do,' he tells the Daily Star. 'But being a judge on X Factor, they couldn't believe it.

'They are absolutely loving it.'
