Robbie Williams reckons he's too sensitive to be a judge on The X Factor.
The singer helped Take That bandmate Gary Barlow select his acts for the live shows at judges' houses and saw how tough the process really is.
'I was sat thinking: "Wow, this is great." But that's all it is, a great day,' explains Robbie, 37.
'I've got my personality to look after. If I was doing it, I would desensitise myself to the emotion.
'I would find it difficult. Who wants to break a 16-year-old's heart?'
But Robbie insists Gary, 40, is the perfect man for the job.
'He's not temperamental and emotional,' he tells the Daily Mirror. 'He does the job and leaves.'
