David Tennant and Billie Piper will be soon appearing on the box together for the first time since Doctor Who.
The pair will reunite in new BBC drama Love Life - a partly improvised series about the relationships going on in one town - which also stars Jane Horrocks and David Morrissey.
‘It features some of our very best acting talent working in a way we've never seen on screen from them before,' says the BBC's drama commissioning chief Ben Stephenson.
David, 40, plays a married man trying to win back his first love while Billie, 28, is a teacher developing feelings for one of her female pupils.
It will be a highly anticipated reunion for Doctor Who fans.
David and Billie won many hearts in their roles as the Doctor and his ever-loyal companion Rose Tyler when they co-starred in the popular sci-fi series for five years.
Love Life hits our TV screens in the New Year.
