Brian Dowling is to host Channel 5's new series of Big Brother.
The former air steward, who won the show in 2001 and again last year when he returned for Ultimate Big Brother, will be taking over from self-proclaimed 'Big Mutha' Davina McCall.
'I'm so excited. When they told me I was like, "Oh my God! Are you sure?"' says Brian, 33.
'I'm just so chuffed. It was about 2 months of talks and going back and forth, they told me about 2 weeks ago and I had to keep it secret.
'But that was a good chance for me to let it sink in.'
And Brian is just as pleased that Emma Willis, 35, will host sister show Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
'She's such a gifted TV presenter,' he tells the Daily Star. 'I'm hoping we'll be a dream team together!'
Big Brother is to kick off with Celebrity Big Brother next month and will followed by the public series in September.
