Louis Walsh has rubbished claims that he indecently assaulted a 24-year-old man in a nightclub toilet.

The X Factor judge is accused of touching the single dad's genitals at Krystle Nightclub in Dublin after a Westlife gig on 10 April.

'The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation,' says Louis, 58.

'I will happily co-operate fully with the police and am 100% confident after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated.'

It is alleged that Louis visited the Russell Court Hotel in the early hours before having a drink with the alleged victim in its private Global Bar before moving on to the hotel's nightclub.

'Louis categorically denies any wrongdoing,' his spokeswoman tells the Daily Mirror. 'He will fight to clear his name.'
