Leon Doyle was the latest hopeful to be booted off The Apprentice last night.
The contestants were asked to sell British products to the French but fast food marketer Leon was quickly criticised for his lack of effort.
'Sheerly from a gut instinct, I think I've made up my mind,' Lord Alan Sugar announced in the board room.
'Leon, you're fired!'
Leeds-born Leon consistently used the excuse that he couldn't speak French, while multi-lingual Team Logic colleague Melody Hossaini rang round shops and companies to try and flog their chosen items, including a bone china teapot lamp.
'The regret is that I took a back seat,' Leon, 26, tells the Daily Mail, 'and that I didn't grab the phone out of her hand and make some more appointments myself.
'It's a rollercoaster ride, there's highs and lows. Leon-trepreneur is still confident. I didn't get it blown out of me.
'It's just a hell of a ride, a hell of a rush.'
Victorious Susan Ma's Team Venture celebrated a
record-breaking win after they made a £204,000 profit - the
biggest win in Apprentice history.
