Astrologer Russell Grant: I've sent Cheryl Cole healing crystals to protect her

Russell's looking out for dumped Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is now taking a break from showbiz

Astrologer Russell Grant has sent 3 healing gemstones to Cheryl Cole to help the Geordie pop star recover from her X Factor ordeal.

Russell selected an amethyst, which 'protects from psychic attack'; Tiger's Eye - to bring her 'protective energy'; and fluorite, to 'dissipate nervous energy'.

'Cheryl needs this at the moment,' Russell, 60, tells The Sun. 

'I feel sorry for her. I think she has been really let down.'

And it seems Russell's healing vibes are already working. 

Cheryl, 27, has posted a message on her official website to assure worried fans she's all right.

'I wanted to...thank you all for your continued love, unbelievable LOYALTY and support and remind you that I love you all to bits,' she writes.

'I feel your presence and strength always, and no matter what decision I make or what it is I'm facing, I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know.

'It also breaks my heart a little when i hear that some of you worry about me and need to know that I am ok.

'I want to PROMISE you that I am absolutely fine and more than ok!'
