Inbetweeners' star James Buckley is having a baby with girlfriend Clair Meek

Inbetweeners star James Buckley, who plays sex-obsessed Jay on the show, has announced he's going to be a father.

James and his model girlfriend Clair Meek, both 23, have been together for less than a year but are delighted at the thought of becoming parents.

'Clair and I wanted to let everyone know we're having a baby,' says James.

'Chuffed to say it's going brilliantly.'

The actor met former FHM High Street Honey Clair after they were introduced by mutual mates last September and the pair quickly became an item.

James even took Clair with him while filming The Inbetweeners movie in Magaluf earlier this year.

'All very exciting with the film out in August and baby out soon after that,' James tells The Sun.

'Can't quite believe my luck. Didn't think I had it in me.'
