Vince wants EastEnders star to forgive to get over drunken mistake

Jessie Wallace dumped fiancé Vincent Morse 5 hours before the wedding

EastEnders star Jessie Wallace was understandably horrified when she discovered fiancé Vince Morse had sent a steamy photo of her to his ex.

She called off their wedding and headed to Greece with a male friend for what should have been her honeymoon.

But Vince, 50, hopes to woo her back.

'She trusted me implicitly and I utterly betrayed her. I'm so ashamed,' says the catering firm boss.

'It took a lot of courage for her to call off the wedding... she did the right thing by dumping me. But now I'm begging her for her forgiveness and hoping she will still marry me.'

Vince says he was drunk when he sent the picture and flirty messages to former flame Karen.

'We've all got a bit of a bad side and sometimes it's nice to be a little bit naughty,' he tells the Sunday Mirror. 

'I thought about telling [Jessie] but I thought I was going to get away with it. What man would admit to something like that without getting caught?'

'Things don't look great at the moment but it doesn't stop me loving her and it doesn't stop her loving me.

'The only thing I can do is keep showing I love her and hopefully she'll soften. I know it's a possibility that she won't take me back but I don't want to think about losing her at the moment.'

Vince met Jessie, 39,last year on the set of EastEnders, where he runs his own business feeding the cast and crew.

The actress's love life has been dogged by scandal and he seemed like her knight in shining armour.

When she was 17 Jessie dated convicted killer David Parris, who'd already served time in prison 
for killing a man with his 
bare hands.

When she joined EastEnders in 2000 Jessie 
was dating millionaire Paul Whitworth, but then she got engaged to policeman Dave Morgan, with whom she had Tallulah.

She was also accused of stealing her half-sister Danielle Mason's boyfriend and had a short relationship with 'Enders co-star Billy Murray.
