Holly Willoughby: Baby Belle was at risk of infection during my labour

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby is thrilled her little girl is safe and sound

Holly Willoughby made a surprise appearance on ITV1's This Morning last week to talk about the premature arrival of her baby girl.

The TV presenter, who's currently on maternity leave, went into labour a month early in April, with co-host Phillip Schofield keeping us all informed of her progress via Twitter - as Holly couldn't do this herself.

'I was somewhat busy!' explains the 30-year-old.

'It was nice for me because I was in hospital for 3 days and it was kind of a stop-start stop-start event and we had to leave her in for as long as possible.

'But obviously my waters had broken so she was at risk of infection...but she's here and she's fine.'

Holly and husband Dan Baldwin named their 5lb 2oz little girl Belle and she's a big hit with her big brother Harry, 1,

'Harry's amazing, he absolutely loves her!' says their proud mum.

'He comes up really close to her and he's so still. He just kisses her and cuddles her the whole time.'
