Heartbroken Georgie Thompson 'fears friendship with ex' behind Declan Donelly split

She fears there's 'another woman' behind the end of their romance

Declan Donnelly split from Georgie Thompson after 2 years together

Just six months into her relationship with Declan Donnelly, Georgie Thompson revealed she was keen to start a family with the pint-sized TV star.

But fast-forward 18 months and Georgie's nursing a broken heart after the relationship came to a shock end.

'She's been in pieces but she's had her Sky Sports work colleagues to see her through it,' a pal says.

Glamorous Georgie, 33, failed to bond with best mate Ant McPartlin's down-to-earth wife Lisa.

'Dec couldn't be closer to Ant and Lisa, so it rankled with him that Georgie wasn't as friendly with them as he'd have liked,' reveals our insider.

'There was no animosity but you wouldn't say they were one big foursome.'

When Dec, 35, ended their relationship face to face, Georgie was left shell-shocked.

And she's told pals that she fears something else was behind his decision to split - namely his friendship with ex-girlfriend Claire Buckfield, 35.

Dec dated Claire for 10 years and the pair have remained close ever since their split in 2003.
