X Factor 2005 winner Shayne Ward has parted company with Simon Cowell's label.

Syco Music has decided not to renew the 26-year-old's record deal.

'After five very successful years and an international career which saw him sell over 3.2 million records, Shayne's contract has come to an end,' a spokesman tells The Sun.

Shayne - who was mentored by Louis Walsh on The X Factor - released his third album Obsession late last year, but it only got to No 15 in the charts.

His comeback single, a cover of Nickelback's Gotta Be Somebody, only made it to No 12.

Last week, it was reported that X Factor 2009 winner Joe McElderry was being dropped by Syco Music, too.
