Pregnant Hannah Waterman reveals her baby's mystery dad

Actress Hannah Waterman wanted to keep relationship out of the spotlight

Hannah Waterman is 7 months pregnant

Hannah Waterman has named the father of her unborn child - former Bill and EastEnders actor Huw Higginson.

The actress, whose baby is due mid-June, says she stayed quiet about the pregnancy because she didn't want the tabloids picking over her new romance.

'We've kept things quiet because we're both quite private people,' says Hannah, 35.

'We wanted to give our relationship time to grow away from the public eye.'

Hannah, who split from her husband of 3 years Ricky Groves, 42, in January 2010, admits things have moved quickly with Huw, 47.

'Last year, Huw came a bit unstuck in his personal life and I was on tour with Calendar Girls, so he stayed at my house for a while,' she explains.

'He moved in in June, and things progressed quite quickly from there!

'We spoke early on in our relationship about the fact that we'd like a family. I'm 35 and I didn't want to wait around because, as everyone knows, it can be harder to conceive as you get older.

'But we didn't expect it to happen so quickly!'
