Former Doctor Who David Tennant is a new dad

Georgia Moffett and David Tennant got engaged in January

David Tennant and his fiancée Georgia Moffett are proud new parents to a baby girl.

The new arrival, who was born last night, is thought to be named Olivia.

'Georgia and David could not be happier, Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon,' a friend tells the Daily Mail.

Georgia, who also has a son called Ty, met David on the set of Doctor Who in 2008 when she played the Time Lord's daughter Jenny in an episode called The Doctor's Daughter.

Coincidentally, the actress' real-life dad is Peter Davison, the 5th actor who played Doctor Who.
