SHOCK! Ant McPartlin hit in unprovoked pub attack

The Britain's Got Talent host is 'punched' on night out

Ant McPartlin is said to be furious about his attacker's comments

Ant McPartlin is recovering after he was allegedly punched in the face by 'a teenage rudeboy' in a West London pub on Tuesday night.

The Geordie TV personality was watching the Barcelona v Arsenal football match when the stranger confronted him and demanded: 'Where's your girlfriend?' - referring to Ant's presenting partner Declan Donnelly.

'Ant didn't react and this bloke launched himself at him and punched him in the face,' claims witness Giedrius Kudzinskas.

'Ant reeled back and then a big fight broke out as his mates came to help him.'

Dec, 35 - who hosts Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Ant - had been in Chiswick's The Barley Mow pub with Ant earlier that evening but went home before his mate was assaulted. 

'The bloke was thrown out but when Ant left later, he was waiting for him,' Gledrius tells The Sun.

'There was another lot of shouting and then Ant walked off.

'It was all totally unprovoked.'

A spokesman for Ant confirms he was hit but that he wouldn't be taking the matter further. 

Pub landlord John Wilson says: 'I'm not aware of any violent situation.'
