Channel 4 plan Big Fat Gypsy Weddings Christmas special

Hit show set to get festive

Big Fat Gypsy Weddings - which was aired in 5 parts - was more popular than Big Brother at its peak

Christmas will have a Big Fat Gypsy Wedding twist this year with an 'alternative Christmas speech' delivered by an Irish traveller.

Channel 4 will later air a special Yuletide edition of hit show Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, where we'll see the stars of the hit show celebrating the festive season and adorning their caravans with lights and tinsel. 

'Viewers just can't get enough of the gypsies,' says a source.

'But they are going to have to sit tight until 25 December.

'However, it will be worth the wait.

'It's going to be one Big Fat Gypsy Christmas for everyone.'

Viewers will also get an insight into traveller gifts and the food eaten round the gypsy table.

A Channel 4 spokesman tells the Daily Star: 'We can neither confirm nor deny our plans for Christmas.'
