Bankrupt Kerry Katona: I'll pay off my debts in 2 years

Kerry Katona intends to carry on working hard to pay off the debts she racked up during her former destructive lifestyle.

The reality star was made bankrupt in 2008 over an unpaid tax bill, and though she's now picked herself up and lives in a £3m Surrey mansion, Kerry insists money's tight. 

'I'm still bankrupt,' says Kerry, 30. 'But people don't understand.

'It doesn't mean you have no money whatsoever.

'I work my arse off but I don't reap the rewards.

'I get pocket money. The rest goes to paying off debts.

'If I keep working, which I will, I will hopefully be out of this within the next 2 years.'

Kerry battled depression and became dependent on drugs while married to second husband Mark Croft.

Now a popular Dancing On Ice contestant, Kerry can't quite believe how far she's come.

'I feel uncomfortable with the celebs on the show,' Kerry tells the Daily Star.

'I don't feel I'm worthy to be with them.

'This time last year I wouldn't even be invited to a jumble sale.'
