Big Brother star Josie Gibson is not impressed by Jason Gardiner's rudeness

Jason Gardiner's comments have outraged viewers

Outspoken Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner not only upset Karen Barber on Sunday night with his caustic quip, he's riled Big Brother star Josie Gibson.

'Who thinks Jason from D.O.I needs to concentrate more on peoples skating on not pick on looks?,' Josie, 25, Tweets.

'He's a prize tit.'

In the on-air confrontation this week, Jason ridiculed head coach Karen, 49, after she told him he'd been too harsh only giving Johnson Beharry VC a score of 4 out of 10.

Jason snapped back: ‘If your opinion still mattered you'd be on the panel.'

Complaints about the ‘snide' attack has now reached 3,000 but Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield has played own the row.

'Please do not expect me to condemn Jason or to expect his sacking,' he writes on Twitter.

'Firstly he is a friend. Secondly a telly spat is not a sackable offence, even if it is misplaced. Its crazy OFCOM have been swamped by complaints, why is this now the first port of call for 'The Outraged'? Why?'

A spokesman for the show says: ‘The producers of Dancing On Ice have made it clear to Jason that this type of comment is unacceptable.

‘Jason is sorry for his behaviour and any offence caused to Karen.'

Last year Jason apologised to Sharron Davies after comparing her to excrement.

'In your brown costume, it was like watching faecal matter before it's flushed,' he commented. 'It just goes round and round.'
