ITV1 launching enquiry after viewer complaints

Footage of Louie Spence waxing hairy male bottoms was too much for some This Morning viewers this week.

As presenters Holly Willoughby and Ben Shephard stood giggling, Louie de-fuzzed the G-string clad men.

'There is a real worry that This Morning is trying too hard to please and is getting increasingly tacky,' says a source.

'It's been dubbed Carry On TV in the wake of some of the more slapdash, risque features.

'A Sex Week is planned at the end of next month which, again, promises to see a few firsts on This Morning.

'This isn't what the majority of viewers want to see over their elevenses.'

The show has also been criticised after Eamonn Holmes named Katie Waissel's grandma's porn film - Great British Granny Gang Bang - on air.

But ITV bosses deny the channel is in crisis talks over the programme.

'There was a debrief meeting but this is normal after any show,' a spokeswoman tells the Daily Mirror.

'It was not urgent.'
