Ricky Gervais is not planning on apologising to Hollywood about his Golden Globes appearance any time soon.

'What did I say that was so bad?' Ricky asks in a Piers Morgan Tonight interview.

'It's not my job to worry about what people think of me, that's the job of a politician.'

During his routine, Ricky made barbed comments about a number of Hollywood stars including Angelina Jolie, Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey Jr.

'I don't care what people think of me..,' Ricky, 49, tells Piers, 45. They hired me for a job, and if they didn't want me, they shouldn't have hired me.'
