The shameless pair are plotting a second divorce early next year

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt met through a mutual friend

Seriously, is there nothing Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag won't do for a bit of publicity?

Now has learnt that reality show regulars Spencer, 27, and Heidi, 24, are already planning to split - a month after renewing their wedding vows!

The plan is to end their sham relationship early in the New Year, following a series of staged public rows and other moneymaking stunts.

We can practically smell the desperation all the way across the Atlantic.

‘Spencer's so shameless but you have to give him credit for trying to cash in at every opportunity,' an insider tells Now.

‘He'll cook up these schemes as long as he and Heidi continue to be paid.

'They're telling anyone who'll listen how seriously they're taking their marriage.'

This isn't the first time the couple have sold their souls for a few dollars.

In October, they were spotted ‘accidentally on purpose' burning their divorce papers - and let's not forget Heidi's regular trips to her plastic surgeon.

‘Their every move is calculated to earn money,' says our mole.

‘But what they don't realise is people are sick of it.'
