Take That made a last-minute change to their X Factor number last night.

The boys - Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange - were due to sing new track Kidz with dancers dressed as riot police.

But after last week's student tuition fees protests, boss Simon Cowell, 51, decided the routine could offend some viewers.

'He was worried the performance mught annoy people,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.

'It was too close to what went on last week.'

Instead Take That performed The Flood for a second time this series.

The boys also performed on Strictly Come Dancing so it was a Take That dominated weekend.
