X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd was even sent a skeleton

Cher Lloyd is being mentored by Cheryl Cole on The X Factor

X Factor star Cher Lloyd is being bombarded with death threats.

The singer's dad Darren claims sickos have been sending hate mail to the family home in Malvern, Worcs. 

'At the very least, there are people out there who want to scare Cher,' explains the 37-year-old.

'At the worst, they mean her real harm. We are receiving some sort of threat every day.' 

Cher's parents - who have contacted police - were shocked last week when a package arrived with a skeleton inside.

'I just thank God Cher didn't open it,' her mum Dina, 36, tells the Sunday Mirror. 

'It would have scared the living daylights out of her.' 

Cher, 17 - who is being mentored by Cheryl Cole, 27 - is staying with the other contestants in London while she's appearing on the show.
