Alison Hammond and Britt Ekland leave I'm A Celebrity in double eviction

Competition heats up after two more contestants are voted off show

Alison Hammond is happy to be heading home

Alison Hammond and Britt Ekland have become the latest contestants to leave I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2010.

The This Morning star was voted off the ITV show after taking part in a Bushtucker Trial with Kayla Collins in which they both had to put a variety of bugs in their mouths.

'I am happy to go,' said Alison, 35. 'Every day feels like it is a year in there.'

Britt, 69, was also delighted to be leaving the jungle after the double eviction.

'It feels good to be out,' she said. 

'I can't wait to have a shower and wash my hair! It was so, so hard in there.'

Gillian McKeith and Linford Christie are among the remaining contestants.
