Matt Cardle is favourite to triumph on this year's X Factor but he fears controversial contestant Wagner Carrilho will ruin his chances.
'It would be fun to win, I'd like that - but I have a really terrible feeling that bloody Wagner is going to win now,' Matt, 27, said during an outburst at a CD signing in London.
'It is a joke.'
Wagner, 54, has over 46,000 friends on Facebook fan page Wagner To Win X Factor.
The Brazilian crooner is reported to be getting backing from the same people behind Rage Against The Machine's Christmas No 1 which denied The X Factor 2009 winner Joe McElderry the top chart position.
Support for Wagner continues to come from the unlikeliest of places, with fellow X Factor finalist Katie Waissel's 81-year-old gran, who has revealed she works as a vintage 'escort', backing the flamboyant performer over her own granddaughter.
'Katie is very talented and has a chance of winning but she is up against tough competition,' Sheila Vogel, 81, tells The Sun.
'My favourite singer is Rebecca Ferguson but I love Wagner for all-round entertainment.'
