Cheryl Cole's having to rethink her future plans

Cheryl Cole dreams of sitting next to Simon Cowell across the pond next year on The X Factor lie in ruins.

It seems the 27-year-old Geordie star's been cast aside in favour of her nemesis Nicole Scherzinger and diva Mariah Carey.

Simon also recently revealed that he'd had a conversation with 'one of the most well-known male singers in the world' about appearing on the panel.

Now can reveal that the star in question is... wait for it... Justin Bieber.

‘Simon needs huge names to be judges on the show as he's keen for it to be just as successful in the US as it is in the UK,' a source says.

Justin would be a sure-fire way to bring in the teen audience.
