Katie Waissel had no idea about her grandmother's secret

X Factor finalist Katie Waissel was horrified at the weekend to discover that her beloved grandmother charges men £250 an hour for sex.

But 81-year-old pensioner Sheila Vogel-Coupe, who is now being represented by PR guru Max Clifford, is unabashed about her activities. 

'I work as a prostitute because I love it. I gives me great satisfaction and keeps me young,' she says.

'I could go on for years yet. Why should I stop?'

Sheila advertises her services on escort website Vintage Vamps and works under the name Grande Dame Cecilia Bird.

'We were completely shocked and devastated to hear the news that my grandmother has been conducting immoral activities, including prostitution and pornography,' 24-year-old Katie's sister Natalie Davies says in a statement.

'We as a family disassociate ourselves wholly from these activities and from any future stories that arise from them.'
