JLS star Aston Merrygold: X Factor’s Katie Waissel is so sexy in leather

Aston Merrygold likes the way Katie looks

Aston Merrygold loved Katie Waissel's week 5 performance

Self-confessed ladies' man Aston Merrygold has got the hots for Katie Waissel.

Although Aston's favourite X Factor performers are Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson, it's Katie who speeds up his heart rate.

‘I think Katie's hot,' Aston, 22, confesses.

‘She looks really pure and sweet and then puts a whole Lady Gaga twist on it.'

Aston particularly liked the way Katie looked in week 5 of the contest. The finalist wore her crazy blonde wig and skin-tight black trousers and boots.

‘During her performance of Don't Speak she was the best she has looked,' Aston tells The Mirror.

‘I thought she was absolutely stunning and that leather outfit was very sexy.'

Aston's band JLS were X Factor runners-up in 2008, narrowly losing out to Alexandra Burke.
