X Factor star Katie Waissel's ex: I don't think we'll be friends

The X Factor star tries to keep her new romance a secret

Katie Waissel is dating Leon Callanan

Katie Waissel's ex has accepted that she's now close to club promoter Leon Callanan, but he wishes things were different.

Simeon Taylor, 26, started dating Katie in June, but she dumped him three weeks ago.

'I find it strange seeing her with someone else, especially because she has a lot going on,' he says.

'It came as a bit of a shock. We were making plans to spend th future together and then suddenly she was with someone else.'

The X Factor's resident diva Katie, 24, who was saved from getting the boot for the fourth time at the weekend, is an affectionate person 'who needs to be in a relationship'.

'I care for her still, although I don't know why,' admits Simeon. 'I wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, but we're not together and I don't think we'll even be friends.'
