Danny Jones from McFly believes X Factor finalists One Direction are headed for stardom.
The boyband veteran is supporting Simon Cowell's group, who are now one of the final three acts in the contest.
'They'll be huge if they stay together,' says Danny, 24.
'They could potentially be really big - it depends on their songs and what the chemistry is between them.'
Singer and guitarist Danny, who has had seven No 1s with McFly, thinks the boys have bonded - despite all auditioning as solo acts.
'You never know how these things will go as they've been put together by The X Factor, but it is very powerful,' he tells Metro.
Westlife and Take That - who performed on last night's show - are also rooting for the boys.
