Wagner Carrilho has an eye for the ladies

X Factor lounge lizard Wagner Carrilho's had millions of us yelling at the TV over his eccentric performances.

But there's one person who knows Wagner better than anyone: his ex-wife Trudi Brass, 55.

Although the 54-year-old's been plagued by rumours of inappropriate behaviour with his backing dancers, Trudi reveals he's no sex pest - but says he does love women.

‘Wagner definitely has an eye for the ladies. I think he'll fancy Dannii Minogue. Cheryl Cole's very pretty, but she wears a lot make-up and that won't appeal to Wagner.'

Trudi, who met the Brazilian singer when he was 21 and she was 22, says: ‘He used to walk up and down Copacabana Beach in Rio wearing white trousers and a T-shirt and heads would turn.

'He'd often pick out foreign women and chat them up. They were putty in his hands. He was absolutely gorgeous.'

Although they met in the late 70s, the couple didn't tie the knot until 1992 - then split within weeks over Wagner's controlling ways.

‘When I was living in Brazil, he'd sing love songs to me,' says Trudi. ‘He was very persistent and quite intense.

'But as soon as I married him it felt like a mistake. It was like: "I've got you - you're my woman."

'I think he could make some women feel uncomfortable with his behaviour.'
