Strictly's Patsy Kensit: I’ve lost two stone!

Strictly star Patsy shimmies her way to a slimmer shape

Patsy says hard work and excitement made the fat disappear

Forget fad diets and boring gym sessions, Strictly Come Dancing star Patsy Kensit has the tango and twirling around the dancefloor to thank for shedding an amazing 2st in just six weeks.

‘I've gone down two dress sizes,' admits the Holby City star.

Pushing herself through intense seven-hour workouts including endless dance practice, running and medicine ball exercises, 42-year-old Patsy's undergone a complete body overhaul to show off lean legs and a flat stomach.

While most celebs tone up on the physically demanding dance show, the mum of two has managed to put her younger co-stars such as Kara Tointon, 27, to shame with her fitter figure.

‘I used to run every morning and didn't shift anything but I think that's because I was carrying a lot of emotional weight,' says Patsy, who split from 4th husband Jeremy Healy in April.

‘All the excitement and hard work has made the excess fat disappear.'
