Joe Swash: I'd take Kara Tointon back tomorrow

The ex-EastEnders star watches his ex every week on Strictly

Joe Swash misses Kara Tointon

Celebrity break-ups are often an ugly, messy business, so when Joe Swash quietly split with his former EastEnders co-star Kara Tointon, 27, in May after two years together, it came as a bit of a surprise.

But Joe, 28, still calls Kara - who's rumoured to be dating her Strictly dance partner Artem Chigvintsev - 
his 
‘best friend' and is glued to the TV screen every weekend to see her dance.

'I watch every episode. I always text Kara before every show on Saturday to say good luck and then I'll probably speak to her during the week,' he reveals.

'She's looking amazing, just out 
of this world. I'm sitting here just thinking: "Oh my God."

'She's amazing, she's beautiful.'

Joe still has deep feelings for his ex.

'Me and Kara are still best friends and she knows I still love her,' he says. 'But sometimes you need to step away from situations and work out what's going on. But we're still really, really close and 
I love her to pieces.

'I'd take Kara back tomorrow. It's my fault that we broke up, I had to do some growing up.'
