Lord Alan Sugar has hit out at Kirstie Allsopp after she called him 'uncharitable'.

Last week, the Location, Location, Location host revealed on Twitter that she didn't enjoy working with the tycoon on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2008.

'I worked with him on Sport Relief does The Apprentice. His behaviour was shockingly uncharitable,' Kirstie, 39, wrote. 

'There r words I don't use, but when it comes to Sugar & his treatment of the staff & crew involved..in any other work place he'd be Fired!!'

But now Lord Alan, 63, has responded to the comments. 

'Bloody cheek @KirstieMAllsopp was in celeb apprentice claims I was uncharitable,' he writes on Twitter. 'She was useless.'

Kirstie is now hoping to put their row to bed.

'A dignified silence is probably most appropriate,' she tells the News Of The World.

The Apprentice airs on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday nights.
