Kim Cattrall loves watching Coronation Street

Kim Cattrall would like to appear on Coronation Street.

The Sex And The City star is a huge fan of the ITV soap and fancies following in the footsteps of Sir Ian Mckellen and Status Quo with a cameo.

'Coronation Street would be fun. I would love it,' Kim, 54, tells Liverpool's Radio City 96.7.

Jane Danson, 31, who plays Leanne Battersby, would welcome the idea of Kim joining Corrie.

'I think Kim Cattrall should come in and be Leanne's mum,' she explains.

'She could come in really glamorous and give Leanne a good telling off for messing about with Nick Tilsley.'
