Bruno Tonioli introduced Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough and is glad it's been such a good match.

‘I love Cheryl and I love Derek - they have clicked together and they complement each other perfectly - it's a positive relationship,' says Bruno.

‘I don't know where it's going to go, but I have told them both that they have my blessing.

'If it's meant to happen, it's meant to happen.'

Bruno, 54, is annoyed that Will.i.am reportedly called Dancing With The Stars professional Derek, 25, 'a bit of a player'. 

'It pisses me off,' he says. 'It's got nothing to do with Will.i.am - keep your nose out of it.

'If Cheryl and Derek want to shag themselves silly, who cares? They're grown-ups.'

Cheryl's new book Through My Eyes will be released on 30 September.
