Alex Reid has rubbished reports his wife Katie Price and her ex-husband Peter Andre are to be reunited on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

There were claims last week that ITV bosses wanted to do something like Ultimate Big Brother by getting lots of old contestants - including the former couple - to take part in the new series. 

'As far as I know my wife is not going,' says Alex, 35.

'And it goes without saying that obviously I wouldn't like the idea of her and Pete being there together.'

Peter, 37, has also shot down the claims.

'This is absolute nonsense,' he says. 'I loved my time in the jungle but I could never recreate that magic again. I'd never go back.'
