Big Brother winner Josie Gibson visits dog attack girl in hospital

Josie Gibson travels to Scotland to drop in on her biggest Big Brother fan

Generous Josie Gibson takes time out from her hectic schedule to visit her biggest Big Brother fan

Big Brother 11 winner Josie Gibson has made a special trip to Ninewells hospital in Dundee to visit a very special BB fan.

Rhianna Kidd is being treated there after being mauled by two Rottweiler dogs 11 days ago.

The 10-year-old had revealed that Josie was her favourite celebrity, so she was overjoyed when the Bristol babe arrived to say hello.

‘When I heard that Rhianna wanted to see me instead of a girl band or something it was brilliant,' says Josie.

‘That was better than winning the hundred grand on Big Brother.'

Rhianna was cycling to her grandmother's house when the two dogs attacked her, savaging her face and leg.

She was left with a broken jaw and had to have over 100 stitches to her wounds.

‘It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. I have a sister the same age called Rhia,' Josie tells The Sun.

She gave Rhianna an iPod engraved with: ‘To my brave Rhianna, love from Josie xxx' and asked the schoolgirl to stay in touch.

A Tayside police spokesman has confirmed that a woman has been charged under the
Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 for failing to keep the dogs under control.
