Cheryl Cole: I felt betrayed by Ashley

But Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is ready to move on with her life

Cheryl Cole has spoken about her divorce from Ashley Cole for the first time.

The Girls Aloud star split from the Chelsea footballer in February following allegations he cheated on her with a string of women.

Asked if she felt betrayed, Cheryl says: 'Yes, I definitely do.'

The X Factor judge, 27, is grateful she never had kids with Ashley, 29, as she thinks it could have complicated things.

'I've got to take everything that's happened and learn from it,' she tells Vogue.

'And I've just got to be grateful that I've got so many good things going on. I have. And there's no children, you know?

'Some people's lives fall apart, are turned upside down. Of course it's heartbreaking, but it's not anything remotely like it could have been and I'm very, very thankful for that.'
