Davina McCall will become a Big Brother housemate

Davina McCall can't wait to enter the Big Brother house

Big Brother host Davina McCall is set to become a guest contestant on Ultimate Big Brother.

The 42-year-old will finally realise her dream of being a housemate - she will spend a day in the company of favourites including Chantelle Houghton and Brian Dowling.

‘I've watched it so much I reckon I've got it down to being the perfect housemate,' Davina says.

Davina originally wanted to experience Big Brother for a full 24 hours, but she decided to shorten her stay to spend time with her husband Matthew Robertson.

‘He said, "You sleeping is the only bit of you I get to myself." That's quite a winner isn't it?' Davina revealed on Alan Carr's Chatty Man.

Davina has hosted Big Brother since it was first screened in 2000 - to date, she has presented 21 series of the show.
