Ultimate Big Brother's Chantelle Houghton thinks she can now be friends with ex-husband Preston

Chantelle Houghton is ready to accept her relationship with Preston is finished

Chantelle Houghton has convinced herself that taking part in Ultimate Big Brother is helping her to accept that her relationship with her ex-husband Preston is finally over.

Though she still appears devoted to him and began weeping after new housemate Vanessa Feltz asked about her divorce, she's hoping the experience will act as therapy.

‘We both said that I'm gonna go and see him at the weekend when the show finishes,' Chantelle told Ulrika Jonsson.

‘Obviously there's nothing more we can have 'cause, like, obviously Preston's got a girlfriend and we couldn't go back now anyway.'

Essex girl Chantelle, 27, reckons that spending so much time with 28-year-old Preston in the Big Brother house has allowed her draw a line under their relationship.

‘A really good thing's come out of me doing this show,' she says. 'I am gonna be able to move on.'
