Big Brother 11 winner Josie Gibson escaped from the house yesterday and Ultimate Big Brother new BFF Ulrika Jonsson was particularly upset.

All the housemates were shocked when Josie made a run for it but Ulrika, 43, burst into tears.

Brian Dowling comforted her with a tender hug.

'You have to hope that he [John James Parton] is worth it,' he said.

'Yes, I hope he's happy because I'm not,' Ulrika wept.

Josie shared a bed with the mum-of-four on the first night of UBB, but slept alone in the hammock on Wednesday.

When guest ex-Big Brother contestant Darren Ramsey arrived to rumble Nasty Nick's Tree Of Temptation task notes and announce the names of the nominated evictees this week, Ulrika cheered up.

'It wasn't so bad Josie leaving after all,' she quipped. 'The place in my bed is free.'

Sadly for Ulrika, hunky Darren read out Coolio and John McCririck's names - then left.

Later racing pundit John got his wish and was the first UBB contestant to be booted out.
