Chantelle Houghton has been getting close to ex-husband Preston in the Ultimate Big Brother house.

On what would have been their 4th wedding anniversary, the former couple cosied up in a quiet corner of the Big Brother bedroom for an intimate chat.

The pair divorced in 2007 after less than a year of marriage, but confessed to the other housemates that they still have feelings for one another.

‘I will always love him,' says Chantelle.

Preston - full name Samuel Preston - has been comforting Chantelle, 27, since she ran off to the bathroom in tears yesterday following a conversation about divorce.

The stress of being in such an intimate environment with her ex had got too much for her.

‘The best outcome is just that we're cool [with each other],' Preston reassured.  

The former Ordinary Boys frontman also looked after Chantelle when she suffered an upset tummy.

But the Essex girl refuses to believe their love can be rekindled because they are too different and her former spouse has a steady girlfriend.

‘I don't think me and Preston would have met on the outside world,' Chantelle told her housemates.

Preston was engaged to Camille Aznar when he fell for Chantelle in Celebrity Big Brother 2006.
