Alex Reid isn't returning to the Big Brother house

Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid has denied reports that he will be one of the contestants taking part in Ultimate Big Brother, which begins tonight.

Rumours had suggested Alex has accepted £150,000 to take part in the reality show, alongside other former housemates and this year's winner.

But although Alex, 35, says he was approached by the organisers, he's too busy at the moment preparing for a fight.

'I would love to go back, if they would let me train,' he told This Morning.

'But I am not going in today.'

Alex's explanation leaves the possibility of his participation a bit open-ended. Could he be joining the others at a later date?
