Knight And Day co-stars to race round test track

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz will shoot their scenes today

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are to appear on this Sunday's Top Gear.

The pair will feature in the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment.

Tom, 48, and Cameron, 37, will have to drive a Kia cee'd around a test lap as fast as they can. 

'This week's Star In A Reasonably Priced Car genuinely is Tom Cruise,' reads a statement on the Top Gear website.

'As if that wasn't ludicrous enough, he's brought a colleague with him. Her name is Cameron Diaz.

'It's fair to say, we've have never, ever had two bigger guests and for the past week the air in the office has been alive with a sort of sweaty-palmed excitement.'

Tom and Cameron, who are in England to promote new movie Knight And Day, will film their laps today at a track in Surrey.
