Matt Smith to quit Doctor Who?

Actor said to be planning to try his luck in Hollywood

Matt Smith is the 11th Doctor Who

Matt Smith is reportedly planning to quit Doctor Who.

The actor, 27, is expected to leave the hit show after the next series to pursue a film career. 

'He is eager to try new things and thinks Hollywood beckons,' says a source.

The BBC admit Matt is only contracted to make one more season.

'He is filming the Christmas special and then goes on to film the second series,' a spokesperson tells The Sun.

'Beyond that, the BBC and Matt won't speculate on things.'

Matt is dating model Daisy Lowe, 21.
